The St. John's Wood Women's Club (SJWWC) is an activities-based social and civic non-profit organization promoting friendship through our many activities and events. We welcome citizens of all nationalities and are dedicated to enhancing the "London Experience" for our members.
In 1978, 14 women formed the SJWWC, and we have since grown to more than 250+ dynamic members! Most of our members live in the northern sector of London (St. John's Wood, Maida Vale, Little Venice, Swiss Cottage, Hampstead, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill, Marylebone, etc.), though we have members throughout the greater London area - and, in fact, around the world!
Currently, we sponsor 20+ activities per month, from September through the beginning of June. Activities can vary from year to year depending on what members want and the Activity Leader volunteers we have to organize these. Sample activities include - golf, art appreciation, theater, local travel, London walks, languages, country hikes, tea with friends, pub lunches, creative writing, book club, walks for a cause, afternoons at the movie, one-off special events around London, etc.
Our website and the Activities Calendar, www.sjwwc.org, features information about our meetings, activities, general information about London, a member directory, useful London resources and more. In addition, our weekly newsletter is sent to members, providing the most current updates on activities and other key items of interest.

GENERAL CLUB ACTIVITIES
Setember 7, 2023 - Annual Kick Off / 1st General Meeting, 9-11am
This is open to SJWWC members and prospective members (non-members) and there is no cost. Please join us at this social meeting: meet the Board Members and Activity Leaders, learn about the SJWWC and what we have planned for 23/24, and meet our advertisers that are local businesses that provide goods and services our membership highly values.

November 14, 2023 - HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE, 9am - 1pm
This is open to SJWWC members and non-members and is free to attend. We will have a wide and unique variety of vendors selling fabulous items perfect for holiday gifts and for yourself! Light bites and drinks served.

December 7, 2023 (Asia House) 11:30am-2:30pm - Holiday Luncheon
This is open to SJWWC members and the cost includes food and drinks. We will gather to enjoy a 5 star holiday feast, silent auction (proceeds donated to charity) and celebrate together at a fabulous and festive venue.

April 30 - 2024 Spring General Meeting 8:30am-10:30am, The Elgin Maida Vale
This is open to SJWWC members and there is no charge. At the meeting, we will have time to socialise, have a quick vote on the 24/25 Board Members and have a dynamic speaker present a topic of interest to our members.

2024 All Members Spring Picnic/Luncheon, date tba
SJWWC Members will gather in Regent's Park for a fun, social gathering before we break for summer. The cost includes food and cutlery, which will be provided at the park and you bring your own drink and picnic blanket.
